"The artist forges himself to the others, midway between the beauty he cannot do without and the community he cannot tear himself away from." - Albert Camus
While the economics taught in classrooms gets more and more complicated, with it's graphs, tables, charts and mathematical jargon, the beauty of economics is perhaps best witnessed through mere observation. As new economies are born, and others develop, flourish and fluctuate, at the grassroot level, it's all reflected in the way each individual decides and how she lives. With every new pin created at every other nail factory, Smith's invisible hand travels across international frontiers to give rise to new theories and render others true. And it all requires a dash of creativity, and a spirit of inquiry.
