- Games and Sports: Questions related to various sports and iconic moments in sporting history.
- Mixed Bag: Includes topics such as literature, history, science-technology, mythology, and culture.
Prizes
- The winning team shall receive prize money worth ₹2000, a trophy, and certificates of merit.
- All participants shall receive participation certificates.
Rules and Regulations
- The event is open to all enrolled high school (+2), undergraduate, and postgraduate students (U-25) of any discipline.
- Each team can have a maximum of 3 members. Lone wolves are also allowed to participate and will be considered a team.
- Teams will have to pay an entry fee of ₹150.
- Cross-college/university teams are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
- No restrictions on the number of teams from one College/University/Institution.
- The entire event will be conducted in-person in the Jadavpur University campus.
- Finalists will be required to provide the organizers with valid proof of their present qualification.
- The decision of the quizmaster is final with regard to the questions and scoring.
- Anyone who resorts to unfair means during the quiz will have their team disqualified.
Quiz Format:
- The quiz will consist of two stages: the preliminary stage and the final stage.
- The preliminary stage will be in written format. Questions will appear on the screen and teams will have to write the answers on a given white paper.
- The prelims will have 20 questions and the multiples of 4 will be starred questions.
- In the event of a tie, the number of starred questions answered correctly will be used to break the tie.
- If the tie persists, then the longest streak of questions answered correctly will be considered.
- Apart from the 20 questions, 2 extra questions will be incorporated into the questionnaire as the ultimate tiebreaker instrument.
- The top 6 teams will qualify for the final stage.
- All the standard rules, including the pounce-bounce format, will be followed.
- The winner takes the entire prize money.
